High brow rock or low brow jazz, ranging from improvised mayhem to down town grooves. We can play any venue from rock clubs, to experimental venues, to dinner jazz. The sets are the same, we only differ the volume and approach. 2/3 of the set are originals, we also play jazz standards (Nature Boy, Blue Train, etc) and twisted versions of rock songs (Money, Dancing Days, etc). The basic lineup is a quartet: drums/bass/guitar/trumpet, but we frequently add additional horns, guitar, or violin. The band is the result of aging hipsters, who grew up on classic rock, embraced punk in the 80’s and discovered Miles Davis in the 90’s.
