Meet Rhombus-BMOC at the School of Shape Rock

Rhombus isn’t just the shape you loved in geometry class, they’re the aggressive punk-beats-up-pop emo rockers from Minneapolis. Their pointy wit and loud, angular music will rock you in half. True shape rock professionals, they’ve mastered protractors, compasses and that quirky thing that music fans love.

School’s in session:

History
Rhombus released its freshman release CD Buttonpusher in Autumn 2002. Recorded by Flyte-Time veteran Brad Yost, this assignment earned an A+.

Gym
Rhombus puts on a loud, high energy show. On-stage jumping and posing, wrestling and rollicking is a cardiovascular and sarcastic work-out. Head-bobbing fans build neck flexibility.

Humanities
Frontman Steve Roehm (former member of Billy Goat and Matt Wilson band), straps on a bass and sings over any heckles..
Guitar wiz kid and background vocalist Schoen Oslund (former leader of Liar’s Club), takes rocking to shameless levels.
Keyboardist Corey Eischen (also in Billy Johnson’s Road Show) manhandles his instrument and poses.
Drummer George Marich (fill-in guy for Love-cars, 12Rods and Tugboat) likes looking sexy and breaking stuff.

Music Appreciation
StarTribune Music Critic Chris Reimenschneider wrote, “Rhombus’ first full-length CD “Buttonpusher” features quirky, four-eyed pop.”
One anonymous satisfied fan said, “I just saw a Weezer concert for 4 bucks.”

Creative Writing
If Devo met Weezer in detention and decided to throw a party for the Cars and Brainiac…
